Alligator Bayou Drainage and Backwater Flooding Reduction

Construction Cost: $2.3 million
The Wharton-Smith team demolished the existing flood control structure and constructed a newly-designed flood control structure using a most cost-efficient method of construction. The team installed a boat launch and gravel parking lot to provide public access to the Alligator Bayou’s waterways. This project was completed in September 2018.
