Edward J. Doyle Police Headquarters

Leed Gold Certification Logo

This two-story, 17,289 square-foot Police Headquarters boasts the latest technology and security innovations and serves as a symbol of justice within the Maitland community. The ground floor consists of reception, records quartermaster, evidence processing, storage, and three high-security prisoner holding cells off of a secured sally port and entrance. The second floor houses administration, including offices for the Chief of Police and commanders. The facility also includes a large, multi-purpose conference and training room.

The project incorporates sustainable design and building strategies to achieve LEED Gold certification with the U.S. Green Building Council. Wharton-Smith provided preconstruction, construction management, and LEED coordination for the project.
