Oak Ridge HS Athletic Field House/Gymnasium

Home to the Pioneers, Oak Ridge High School is particularly proud of its athletics program and facilities. As part of a complete multi-phased 315,000-square-foot replacement of the school, Wharton-Smith managed the construction of all new athletic facilities including an athletic field house, gymnasium, and play fields for baseball, football and competition track. The new Athletic Field House includes locker rooms, a weight room, athletic training facilities, concessions, restrooms, and equipment storage. The gymnasium provides courts for basketball and volleyball, as well as lockers, concessions, offices and support areas. The comprehensive project also included new classrooms and administrative buildings, as well as extensive sitework consisting of courtyards, hardscaped plazas, walkways, canopies and all utilities required for the replacement campus.
