Baton Rouge, LA – August 10, 2016 – Community members and representatives from BREC – the agency that operates public park recreation facilities in East Baton Rouge Parish – gathered to celebrate the upcoming addition and partial renovation at Forest Community Park.
The $1.3 million renovation is part of a BREC initiative for updating its most heavily used recreation centers. The existing center and gymnasium were originally built in the 1970s.
