Sanford, FL – September 28, 2016 – Wharton-Smith, Inc., one of Central Florida’s largest locally based general contractors, was recently selected as the Construction Manager for the Orange County Public Schools’ Corner Lake Middle School Comprehensive project. Located off of Chuluota Road in Orlando, the middle school campus will undergo extensive renovations and remodeling totaling approximately 168,000 square feet to existing classrooms, administration, gymnasium, kitchen/dining, art/music and the media center. The project also includes resurfacing of the track and field areas, remodeling of the PE office, locker rooms, outdoor agricultural areas, and storage.

Sanford, FL – September 1, 2016 – Wharton-Smith, Inc., one of Central Florida’s largest locally based general contractors, has been selected as Construction Manager for the comprehensive addition and renovation project at Orange County Public Schools’ Hillcrest Elementary School. Located in downtown Orlando, the $14.6 million dollar project consists of redeveloping the elementary school campus providing approximately 52,000 square feet of new buildings containing classrooms, administration, dining, media center and support spaces.
