Punta Gorda, FL – On October 20, 2017, Wharton-Smith’s Tampa-Commercial Division joined with local law enforcement, county staff and subcontractors to mark a milestone on the new Charlotte County Jail Infirmary project by celebrating the “topping out” of the building’s roof.

In appreciation for a job well done, prizes were raffled to subcontractors on the job and a barbeque lunch was provided. Doug Whisler, Project Superintendent welcomed subcontractors and team members to the celebration. “Thank you for the great job you have all done to get us to this important milestone,” he said.
