Celebrating Central & South AWWTF

On July 16, Wharton-Smith joined with representatives from the City of Fort Myers, Cogburn Electric, AECOM, and CDM Smith for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, lunch, and a tour of the South Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility. See more pictures.

Our Wharton-Smith team provided construction management services to this project, which serves as the principal marine operations and support facility for The University of Southern Mississippi’s oceanographic research efforts.

Wharton-Smith moves up the ENR Top 400 list!

Once again, Wharton-Smith has been ranked among the Top 400 contractors in the country by Engineering News-Record (ENR) – a weekly magazine that provides news, analysis, data and opinion for the construction industry worldwide.

Once again, we moved up the list from 204 to 201. Companies are ranked by overall construction revenue for 2019 and then broken out into several subcategories, including General Building, Water/Sewer/Waste, and more. A pdf of the story and the Top 400 list is attached.…
