Over the last several months, the Wharton-Smith corporate office in Sanford, FL has been in the process of expanding. As we begin to wrap up construction on our new addition, we want to reflect and appreciate just how far we’ve developed as a company.

We are elated to highlight the dedicated work our Wharton-Smith Brevard team accomplished by delivering construction management services to the Viera Area Elementary School operation.

Having wrapped up in June, this single-story, 125,000 s.f. campus features 54 new classrooms, a media center, administration/office space, and so much more. Our crew also provided all associated amenities to modernize this facility, including infrastructure to support individual computers, touch screen TVs for teachers, and the foundation for future solar power panels.

Wharton-Smith is pleased to share another triumphant project! Our continued involvement made it possible to deliver CMAR services on behalf of the Osceola County School District for the Osceola Business Academy at Poinciana High School. We installed a new two-story, 500-student station, 20-classroom building with administration spaces, required restrooms, mechanical and electrical locations, and more.

Wharton-Smith is proud to be providing extensive construction services to the Orange County Convention Center Food Service Renovations project. These impressive repairs are scheduled to be completed in a multi-phased operation by early 2022.

✔ Phase One: Remodeling of the public dining and kitchen areas in two food courts.

⬜ Phase Two: Renovations to the kitchen area of an additional food court and a counter service café.

⬜ Phase Three: Flooring replacement of two public restaurants and the selective demolition, renovation, and upgrade to the service kitchen and dish room.

Our Wharton-Smith team over at Pine Crest Elementary School of Innovation has been ℎ𝑎𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 away to get this project completed in time for the school year. With one final building to renovate, our group participated in an honorary wall demolition to commemorate the home stretch.
