It’s a true honor to be recognized again by the Central Florida Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) association for the Eagle Award. We are fortunate to have secured this impressive award again on account of the Orange County Convention Center Food Service Renovations project.

The $6.2 million renovation to Food Courts A and B is phase one of a three-phase project. The Wharton-Smith project management team overcame a number of design, construction, and logistical challenges to revamp the food courts to match the aesthetics of existing Food Court C. A design-build approach was used to determine how the new project would interface with current equipment and systems.

Through trials and tribulations, our Orlando Commercial team has been able to successfully execute all project requirements thus far and still outshine the award criteria. Let’s keep up the great work!
