Jingle Build-Off
This is Christmas in construction! 🚧🎄🛠
Our project team at The Villages Charter High School joined Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter, Florida (HFHLS) to participate in the 2021 Jingle Build-Off. The Jingle Build-Off is an annual team building program, on behalf of HFHLS, where playhouses are constructed and donated as Christmas gifts to local families in the community.

Completed in 2013, Wharton-Smith provided preconstruction and construction management services to the 325,000 s.f. multi-phased campus replacement project for Oak Ridge High School. This included a new admin building, gymnasium, classrooms, media center, auditorium, and so much more.

Turnpike Topping Out
Representatives from the City of Leesburg, St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD), Dewberry, and Wharton-Smith joined together to celebrate the topping out of the Turnpike Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvement and Expansion Project.
Since mobilization 11 months earlier, the project team has worked 100,000 manhours, placed 5,100 cubic yards of concrete, moved 8,000 cubic yards of dirt, injected 1,500 cubic yards of grout, and installed 4,200 lineal feet of pipe. As a result of the team’s hard work, Wharton-Smith will be providing CMAR services for the next phase of the expansion, valued at $30 million.
