On Jan. 27, Wharton-Smith hosted a group of students at the Casselberry Public Works Complex job site. They are enrolled in their first semester of Seminole State College’s Building Construction Vocational program.

The program focuses on producing skilled tradespeople to perform new construction and building maintenance. The students are part of an internship program with Universal Studios Orlando and will earn their OSHA 10 Certificates and Journeymen’s/Respective Trade Certifications upon completing the program.
